Welcome back, Jane Brocket! You’ve been missed. We are all on new paths, with our children grown and out on their own. We have new interests and hobbies, and it will be lovely to see where you are on your path and what you are up to. I’m so happy to have found you, again!
Jane!!! I am so pleased you are back. I have missed you so and I was so thrilled when you took up the Persephone post but now I am even more thrilled to find that Yarnstorm
Is back. I am taking a soothing breath out. It must be something I was subconsciously aware of as I have just made your flapjacks yet again. Best recipe ever for them.
So glad you are back! And thank you for your wonderful book ‘The Gentle Art of Quilt-Making’ - always my first port of call for inspiration when I’m planning a new quilt!!
I used to love reading your blog and am very happy that you are now doing this and Persephone books. Something definitely to look forward to on a Sunday morning! Take care x
I thought your Sunday newsletter was inspired and your reading of the Sunday papers ie seeking out the artsy pieces really resonated with me. And this hot on the heels of Persephone Post Mark 2. It’s just lovely to know there is much to look forward to. Please let us know if you are doing any more talks on stained glass. I would have loved to have come to the one in Ely.
So pleased you are back. I first discovered you when my kids were young, you opened a door to enjoying domesticity in both a practical and intellectual way...it was a lifesaver for me! Hoping that lead light glass will also feature. I’ve loved the occasional photos of stunning coloured glass windows.
Oh, it is so lovely to have your writing back. Love hearing about the family and what has been keeping you busy. Looking forward to our Sundays together.

Welcome back - fabulous as ever - has left me wanting more - here’s to next Sunday 😍

Long time reader of Yarnstorm and lover of all things colourful and beautifully eclectic. So glad you're back!
I love Varda's recent documentary type films and her 1965 beautiful, sad Le Bonheur is one of favourite films.
Welcome back Jane and thank you 👍
